As Executive Assistant to the President and CEO of the New York State Health Foundation (NYSHealth), Olivia Williams is responsible for directly supporting the president and assisting in the facilitation and execution of administrative responsibilities for NYSHealth. Her duties include coordinating meetings and travel arrangements; preparing correspondence and reports; maintaining schedules; and assisting with managing the executive office. Ms. Williams also serves as liaison to the Board of Directors.
Prior to joining NYSHealth, Ms. Williams worked in the education industry for 10 years. She served as a high school teacher at Westfield Ninth Grade Center, Westfield High School, and Dekaney High School in Houston, Texas, teaching 9th–12th grade math to students in general education, special education, and the English as a Second Language (ESL) program.
Ms. Williams earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Houston and a teaching certificate from Texas Teachers.
